Makellan joined First Samuel in January 2018 after relocating from Brisbane, QLD.
Makellan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a dual major in Finance and Economics from Griffith University and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance with Kaplan. She has over 10 years of experience in the financial services sector, working in various sales, administrative and operational roles within retail banking and funds management.
Makellan as First Samuel’s authorised dealer oversees all trading activities and ensures the effective execution of investment decisions and portfolio rebalancing. Additionally, she plays a key role in supporting the annual MDA Audit and Client Tax Reporting functions.
Makellan moved from the United States in 2013 and outside of First Samuel, Makellan enjoys spending time with friends, keeping active and travel.
